Maria Gil kreeg een lening voor haar eindpresentatie aan de ArtEz, waar ze een Masterstudie Fashion Strategy heeft gevolgd.

‘Maria sees the worldthrough patterns, textures and prints, constantly hunting and capturing them in such a way thatyou can feel or touch the image with your eyes. This gives her a multidimensional perspective ofthe world: the detail becomes a landscape. Details, which can be a variety of things such asideas, values, people and identities.
Photography is in fact a tool to break boundaries within the fashion system.’
