Ellen Grael

Ellen Grael heeft – na uitstel in verband met Covid 19 – een solo-expositie in Venetië, vanaf ongeveer 26 februari tot en met 14 maart 2021. De expositie wordt gesponsord door Unesco, Culture Sector in World Heritage Centre in Parijs.

Ellen Grael visited Venice several times and became inspired by the many islands, the floating sea-weeds and the colors of the Lagoon around the city. At her first visit close to the station of Venice she found lines on a wall with marks about the danger of the rising water levels within the coming years. A second Atlantis..? Inspired by this markings she made a new serie ‘The Waters of Venice’.
